Upholding a non-smoking policy at all times, The Isle of Capri Pompano Park poker room provides a very comfortable and friendly environment. It is easy to settle into the poker room for a very long stay as the Pompano Park comp scheme beats all rivals in the state.
With such a tongue-twisting full name, it is understandable that regulars fondly refer to this venue as Pompano Park. The poker room is open for 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, and 18 hours starting at 9 a.m. on every other day of the week. The room is comprised of more than 10 tidy and well-maintained poker tables, which tend to be quickly filled with no-limit hold’em and limit hold’em cash game action. The Pompano Park poker room’s website provides a live feed of running tables and waiting lists. Games as big as $5-$10 no-limit hold’em have been known to run at Pompano Park — matching the standards of other racinos across Florida.
Every October, the poker room plays host to the Isle Open, which promises in excess of $1.5 million in guaranteed prize money across more than 15 days of poker action. And that is definitely not all! There are regular $50,000 and $10,000 guaranteed re-entry tournaments throughout the year wherein players have been known to fire off several bullets in search of a big payday. No matter how big your bankroll, Pompano Park has a game for you. So long as you are 18 or older, you are welcome!

The landmark Oceanic Restaurant is nearing completion and will open in 3Q 2019 with spectacular views of the beach and a private room for social functions. Lucky Fish Beach Bar and Grill, an open air restaurant with a large Keys style Tiki Bar and live music, is expected to open in 4Q 2019, as will Alvin's Island, a beach apparel and water sports store. BurgerFi, Kilwin's and Cannoli Kitchen are under construction with opening planned in 1Q 2020. A dual branded, 150 room, Hilton Tru/Hilton Home2Suites hotel with a rooftop bar will open in 4Q 2020. And a 2 story events center with a roof deck, Lovin' Oven, suitable for corporate events and weddings, is in design.
Pompano Beach Fishing Village is accessible by foot, bicycle, car, bus and even water—the water taxi now stops at the west end of Pier Street, on the Intracoastal Waterway.
