Hard Rock Hollywood will open its guitar-shaped hotel tower on October 24. The $1.5 billion expansion to the Seminole Tribe resort adds 638 guestrooms, a new spa, private lagoons, retail shopping.

A statement from the Wheatland location said it will reopen Thursday at 10 a.m., but with modifications that keep social distancing guidelines in mind.
Sign up for our Newsletters“Few things are more rock ‘n roll than a long-awaited band reunion, and we’ve missed our loyal guests these past few months,” said Mark Birtha, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain president, in a release. “I’m happy to say that when our guests return, they’ll discover more to love here than ever.”
The casino closed in March as a precautionary measure the same week Gov. Gavin Newsom announced statewide stay-at-home orders.
State officials approved Yuba County's attestation forms to ease restrictions and allow some businesses in the area to reopen. Hard Rock said it worked with the Yuba-Sutter health officer for its reopening plans.
Below are new requirements for employees and patrons in accordance with public health guidelines:
First responders and military members will receive special benefits and discounts starting June 1, Hard Rock said. It is also updating its menu items and gaming experiences.
Hard Rock said it continued paying its employees and maintaining health benefits throughout its closure. It also made food and cash donations to different communities and organizations.
